Residential Conveyancing
Our fees for conveyancing transactions depend on various factors, including your sale or purchase price and whether the property is freehold or leasehold. We also take into account the type, location and size of the property.
Our fees start from £1,450 plus VAT at 20% for freehold transactions, for properties up to £200,000.
For leasehold transactions our fees start from £1,950.
Our average fee for a transaction is c.£2,300 plus VAT at 20%.
We do not charge any extra fees for dealing with SDLT returns, acting for lenders, dealing with Lifetime ISAs, or for unregistered land transactions.
Declarations of Trust between joint buyers incur additional legal fees, depending on the complexity of the trust deed.
We can usually offer a fixed fee for our work on any sale or purchase, albeit additional charges may be applicable where unforeseen issues arise (such as defects in title) which require work outside the scope of a normal sale or purchase transaction. However, as experienced property solicitors we can usually deal with most situations within our quoted fees.

Our fees for Transfers of Equity or Remortgages depend very much on the particular circumstances, but our average fee for these types of transactions is £1450 plus VAT at 20%.
