Residential Conveyancing
Our fees for conveyancing transactions depend on various factors, including your sale or purchase price; whether the property is freehold or leasehold; a new build or an established property. We also take into account the type, location and size of the property.
Our fees start from £1350 plus VAT for freehold sales, and £1350 plus VAT for freehold purchases, for properties up to £200,000.
For leasehold transactions our fees start from £1650 for a sale, and £1650 for a purchase.
Our average fee for a sale is c£1800 plus VAT, and c£1900 plus VAT for a purchase.
We do not charge any extra fees for dealing with SDLT returns, acting for lenders, dealing with Lifetime ISAs, or for unregistered land transactions.
Declarations of Trust between joint buyers incur additional legal fees, starting from £200 plus VAT for a basic trust deed.
We can usually offer a fixed fee for our work on any sale or purchase, albeit additional charges may be applicable where unforeseen issues arise (such as defects in title) which require work outside the scope of a normal sale or purchase transaction. However, as experienced property solicitors we can usually deal with most situations within our quoted fees.

Our fees for Transfers of Equity or Remortgages depend very much on the particular circumstances, but our average fee for these types of transaction is £1000 plus VAT.
