Working with Us

Wansbroughs is the leading law firm in central Wiltshire and, with over 100 staff, is a modern commercial practice with a national footprint. We have developed a strong following and established a reputation for conducting work more commonly associated with much larger practices.
Wansbroughs is listed in the Legal 500, an independent publication that analyses the capabilities of law firms, and is Lexcel accredited.
Wansbroughs is based in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Wiltshire is a well-connected, yet rural county with all of the benefits that brings. The M3, M4 and M5 link us in all directions and we have easy access to three main trainlines into central London.
Wiltshire is a great county for cycling, walking and spending time in the great outdoors, and there are many interesting places to visit including the World Heritage sites of Stonehenge and Avebury and the city of Bath with its Roman baths and hot springs, Abbey and Georgian architecture.
Devizes is a thriving market town with good road links to Marlborough, Chippenham and Trowbridge, as well as being accessible to Bath, Salisbury, Swindon and Bristol. The Melksham office is a short distance away, and is very close to Bath and several main routes across the county.
Staff at Wansbroughs live in many surrounding areas. Our location means you can avoid the busy city commute, and take advantage of the more laid-back lifestyle of Wiltshire.
Wansbroughs have a generous holiday allowance and do not have a long hours culture, allowing maximum opportunity to achieve a work/ life balance. We operate a scheme for buying and selling holiday, allowing staff to flex their holiday entitlements up and down to suit their personal circumstances. In addition, employees have the opportunity to take a day off each year to volunteer with a registered charity.
We offer a Group Personal Pension Plan, Life Assurance and access to a fantastic discount scheme as well as regular social and networking events.

Wansbroughs is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of society and does not discriminate on grounds of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation or gender identity.
