Introduction

Our Public Sector Litigation Team deals primarily with the defence of claims brought against local authorities, other public bodies such as the police and fire services and corporate clients. We have a thorough understanding of both the insurer and insured, and continually develop our team’s capabilities in order to provide the best possible service. We have a strong reputation for our public sector work, both locally and nationally, with clients ranging from small local authorities to large international insurance companies. We have an enviable success rate and we work hard to save our clients both time and money on claims that can be extremely complex.
This has helped us to develop long term relationships with clients who appreciate our efforts on their behalf:
“They are without doubt the most efficient firm we have dealt with.”
“I have always found their level of service to be of the highest standard.”
“Over the years they have provided me with invaluable legal advice and guidance.”
“We continually deal with the same members of their team so there is continuity which helps to establish an effective working relationship.”
Our public sector experience means that we are also well placed to handle claims which are brought against our commercial clients. Our combined experience therefore covers a wide range of claims for a variety of clients.
