She is a member of the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority Panel for Personal Injury Claims and has been a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (dedicated to promoting the interest of accident victims) for the last 8 years. Susan has more than 20 years experience working in the field of Personal Injury Compensation. Before joining Wansbroughs in 1996, she worked for a national firm who acted for Defendant Insurance Companies, which gave her an invaluable insight into how the other side may approach your claim.

How can I fund my claim?

You may have legal expense insurance which will cover the costs of bringing a claim following an accident or injury. Such a policy may be attached to household or car insurance, through credit/debit card agreements or membership of an organisation. We will explore this with you to make sure that you are able to instruct the solicitor you choose, rather than the one your insurer wants you to have.

No-Win No-Fee

Wansbroughs may be happy to act for you on a conditional fee basis - often known as a "no-win no-fee" agreement. Under a Conditional Fee Agreement we agree that if the personal injury action is unsuccessful we will charge no fee.
If you have been involved in an accident within the last 3 years that was not your fault, our personal injury team can give you a free, no obligation, consultation. Our personal injury team will assess your claim, answer questions and provide you with legal advice, free of charge and with no commitment.

“Sue was an amazing solicitor who was helpful and always explained every aspect of the case to me. A huge thank you.”
Alice Robinson

“Susan Clifford was impeccable. She constantly kept me informed and chased the third party without once being reminded to do so. She was also there just when I needed her to personally speak to a psychologist on my behalf when I just somehow could not relay to him how I felt after my accident.”
Mrs Huish, Chippenham

“Your advice has been invaluable. Without your help and encouragement I think I would have lost heart.”
Mrs Powell, Melksham

“I would like to thank you for all the work you have done to bring the compensation claim to a close. You and Lauren showed my husband and myself such care, consideration and understanding but the process was not as traumatic as it could have been and the claim was completed more quickly than I had imagined possible.”
Mrs Nelson, Melksham
