Linda is a Senior Associate in Wansbroughs’ Agriculture and Landed Estates Team, with almost 20 years’ experience advising individuals, families and business owners on Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate succession planning and complex estate administration. She works closely with clients to understand their family circumstances, asset structures and long-term objectives, providing clear, practical advice to help them protect assets, plan for the future and support the smooth transition of wealth and responsibilities between generations.

 

Professional Background

After living overseas for a number of years, Linda qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2007. In the same year, she graduated through the University of London External Programme with 2:1 honours in Law. Linda was admitted as a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2009 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Oxford Brookes University, passing with Distinction. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2011 and is a full member of STEP.

  • Trusts and tax planning – advising on trust structures, trust administration and the unwinding of unsuitable arrangements, with a focus on helping clients understand the tax and practical implications of their planning decisions.
  • Collaborative advice – working alongside colleagues in Wansbroughs’ Dispute Resolution, Family and Divorce, Corporate and Property teams where estates involve contested matters, rural or landed assets, business sales, property interests or wider family succession issues.
