Kathryn is a Partner in our Wills, Tax, Trusts and Probate team and provides advice regarding tax, trusts and estate planning for UK domiciled individuals, trustees and executors. Kathryn also advises clients in relation to Court of Protection matters including Powers of Attorney and Deputyship applications. Kathryn has considerable experience of dealing with estate administrations dating back to 2010.

Kathryn graduated from the University of Nottingham and qualified as a solicitor in June 2010. Kathryn joined Wansbroughs as a Paralegal in 2008 and became a Partner in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Kathryn worked at Clarke Willmott in Bristol.

Recent experience:

  • Acting for the executors of an extremely complex and high value estate, the beneficiaries of which are two major national charities.
  • Advising the trustees of a legacy trust fund regarding the distribution of the same, taking into account the considerable lifetime gifts made by the deceased settlor to the potential beneficiaries of the trust fund.
  • Assisting a young unmarried couple with significant assets, including a considerable property portfolio, regarding the preparation of tax efficient Wills utilising a discretionary trust structure.
