David Cooper is a Solicitor in our Children team, specialising in Children Law and Practice. David works with parents involved with social services during Pre-Proceedings and representing them within Court proceedings. David also works with parents seeking Child Arrangements Orders in private law children proceedings, or those seeking protective orders for themselves and their children.
David studied for his law degree with the Open University and graduated in 2021, before achieving a distinction in his LPC and Masters at the University of Law in 2024. Whilst studying, David spent several years working in Further Education before moving to a local authority, where he worked for five years in the legal team.
David joined Wansbroughs in September 2023 to undertake his training, during which he gained experience in Private Client, Corporate & Commercial, and Family law. David completed his training in March 2025 and, on qualification, joined Wansbroughs’ Family team.
