Beth Williams is a Managing Associate in our Private Client Team. She joined Wansbroughs in 2018 as a paralegal before embarking on her training contract and later qualifying with the firm. Beth was first promoted to Associate and then Managing Associate in April 2026.
Professional Background
Beth obtained a first-class law degree (LLB) from Cardiff University and a distinction in the Legal Practice Course (LLM) from the University of Law.
Beth was admitted as a solicitor in March 2020 and was promoted to an Associate Solicitor in 2023.
Beth is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and was awarded a Worldwide Excellence Award for achieving the highest pass with distinction in the STEP Advanced Certificate in the Administration of Estates (England & Wales) during the 2022 academic year.
Expertise
Beth is an experienced member of the Private Client team and can assist with a wide range of areas that one might encounter in their private lives, including in relation to family finances, the death of a loved one, planning around death and losing mental capacity. This can include estate planning (including Wills and advice regarding the mitigation of inheritance tax), the administration of estates on death, setting up Lasting Powers of Attorney covering both finances and health, and trusts.
Beth has experience with complex tax and trust structures and has provided advice resulting in clients saving hundreds of thousands of pounds in inheritance tax.
