Wansbroughs is delighted to announce a series of well‑deserved promotions that recognise the dedication, expertise and outstanding client service delivered by our talented team.
Lucy Ingram – promoted to Partner, Commercial Property Team
Lucy Ingram is an accomplished commercial property lawyer with experience across complex, high‑value real estate matters. She has played a pivotal role in supporting some of the team’s most sophisticated and high‑value transactions, including multimillion‑pound strategic land acquisitions, large estate sales and intricate development projects.
Her calm confidence and ability to manage demanding matters set her apart, while her collaborative approach ensures she remains a trusted adviser to clients and colleagues alike.
Beth Williams – promoted to Managing Associate, Private Client Team
Beth Williams joined Wansbroughs as a paralegal in 2018, later qualifying into the Private Client team and rising quickly through the ranks to become a trusted adviser on complex estates, trusts and tax planning matters. With a first‑class law degree, a Distinction in the LPC and a Distinction in the STEP Diploma – earning a prestigious STEP Worldwide Excellence Award – Beth is recognised for her technical strength and clear, compassionate advice.
Sophie Carrol – promoted to Associate Solicitor, Agriculture & Landed Estates Team
Sophie Carrol is a talented solicitor in our Agriculture & Landed Estates team, advising farming families and estate clients on complex succession and tax planning matters. She originally joined Wansbroughs in 2019, qualified in 2023, and returned in 2025 with enhanced specialist experience. Sophie manages a strong caseload of private client work, is working towards the STEP Diploma, and contributes to the firm’s wider growth through training colleagues, supporting marketing initiatives, and building valuable referrer relationships.
