Legal firm boosts its endowment fund

WANSBROUGHS Solicitors, central Wiltshire’s largest law firm, has boosted the Wiltshire Community Foundation by donating more than £13,000.

The money will be added to the endowment fund it holds with the foundation. The fund generates income every year and is used as part of the £1.1 million it gives away to voluntary groups and individuals across Wiltshire and Swindon every year.

“We are very pleased to be able to put this money to good use and Wiltshire Community Foundation knows exactly how to make the most of it,” said Managing Partner Oliver Price.

“Wansbroughs has always felt very strongly about supporting our communities and working with the Wiltshire Community Foundation allows us to do that in the most effective way. We give them the money and its staff make sure it goes where it really makes a difference.”

Rosemary Macdonald, Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Chief Executive, said: “We have a long association with Wansbroughs stretching back many years and we are delighted they continue to place trust in us.

“Responsible companies like Wansbroughs are vital to help us keep funding the small groups who do such vital work all over the county and their generosity helps us to keep volunteers making peoples’ lives better.”
