Michael is an Associate Solicitor in our Insurance Litigation team, assisting local authority clients in connection with all aspects of civil dispute resolution, whether as claimants or defendants. This includes personal injury, property damage, nuisance and commercial/contract disputes.
Michael worked in the Insurance profession for a number of years before moving into law. He graduated from the University of Bristol before joining Wansbroughs, initially as a paralegal then as a Trainee Solicitor. Michael qualified as a solicitor in 2001.
- Acting for a local authority in connection with enforcement of a £1m Section 106 obligation.
- Defending a £2m claim brought against a local authority for negligent misrepresentation during the sale of land.
- Acting for a highway authority in defence of a £0.5m claim arising out of a serious HGV accident.
