Associate Solicitor


Kathryn has specialised in Family Law for over 20 years and has a wide range of expertise dealing with all aspects of the breakdown of relationships involving married and unmarried couples. Her specialism includes:
  • Divorce and separation
  • Resolving complex financial matters for divorcing or separating couples
  • Cohabitation, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Separation Agreements
  • Disputes involving children.
Kathryn is a Collaborative Lawyer which enables her to formally resolve family disputes with meetings held around the table rather than adopting the Court led process. Kathryn is also a member of Resolution and throughout her practice she strives to adhere to their principles approaching matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way wherever possible while always ensuring that the best interests of her clients are promoted and protected.

Route to Law

Kathryn studied Law at Bristol University before completing her legal training with Payne Hicks Beach, New Square, Lincoln's Inn, London in 1993. After qualifying, Kathryn relocated to the West Country where she practised until joining Wansbroughs as an Associate in 2002.

Family life, children and friends and is partial to good food, wine and travel.
