Family Law Executive


Jane has many years of experience in family law including:
  • Divorce and separation, relationship breakdown and the associated financial issues which arise when a marriage breaks down or a relationship ends
  • Private Law Children matters: where parents are experiencing difficulty in resolving issues about how much time the children will spend with each parent (now known as Child Arrangements but formerly called contact and residence); and applications for parental responsibility, specific issue and prohibited steps orders
  • Domestic Abuse cases where it is necessary to take urgent action to obtain protection for a victim who needs a Non-Molestation Order and/or an Occupation Order. Jane has a bright and approachable manner and is sensitive to the individual needs of clients. She is firm and clear in her advice on issues that arise on the breakdown of a relationship

Route to Law

Jane's training in Family Law began in the mid-nineties and she was awarded her Family Law Diploma in July 2000 after which she gained experience in two Wiltshire firms before joining the Family Team at Wansbroughs in October 2004. Jane is a member of Resolution, an organisation committed to resolving disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational way.

Personal Interests

Jane enjoys travelling, walking and is a keen swimmer.
