Anna is a Partner and solicitor working for a wide variety of individuals and family trusts. She specialises in wealth protection for high net worth individuals and helping with estate and tax planning. She is involved in a number of family settlements and charitable trusts, helping establish these at the outset and assisting with ongoing administration and changes for tax efficiency or to meet personal needs. Anna acts as trustee of a number of family and charitable trusts.
Anna is also experienced in both Will drafting and administering estates working on probate matters since 2002, including those with an international element or other complexities.

Route to Law

After gaining a First in Law at Bristol University, Anna gained her LPC in Nottingham before qualifying as a solicitor at Clifford Chance in 2002, eventually moving to Farrer & Co before relocating to Wansbroughs.  Anna became a Partner in 2009.

  • Acting as a professional executor on a number of high value estates.
  • Liaising with barristers for technical advice for trustees and individuals.
  • Considering the use of trusts and gifts into trusts of property as part of an overall strategy to minimise inheritance and capital gains tax and to provide protection in the case of a divorce.
  • Advising upon post death will variations (possible within two years of the death of an individual) to reduce the tax payable upon death and in conjunction with a long term succession and tax planning strategy.
