Aimée has experience of acting for clients where Social Services are involved with their family. Aimée specialises in Child Protection Matters and advises clients on a variety of issues including:
- Representing clients in Pre-Proceeding Meetings where parents have been provided with a Pre-Proceedings Letter by a Local Authority
- Matters where Court Proceedings have been issued by the Local Authority where there are concerns about a child’s welfare
- Cases involving Adoption and Special Guardianship Orders
Aimée understands that having Social Services involved with your family can be a stressful and difficult time. Aimée tries to make the process as easy as possible for clients by providing straightforward clear advice. Aimée works hard to ensure that her clients case is put to the Local Authority and due to her experience of having worked in-house she is not afraid of challenging them or their processes.
Route to Law
Aimée joined Wansbroughs in May 2015 having previously been employed as a Solicitor in-house for a Local Authority specialising in Child Protection matters. Working in-house has meant that Aimée has gathered a wealth of experience and knowledge on how a Local Authority operates and is able to draw on this when advising her clients in cases involving Social Services.
Aimée enjoys running and socialising with her friends. She also likes travelling and learning about different cultures.
