Applications for training contracts starting in September 2018 please apply between 1 September and 31 December 2017.


We provide career opportunities for trainee solicitors within the firm to gain valuable experience and quality training during this important time in their career.

We have between four and six trainees within the firm at any one time. We generally recruit two or more trainees each year.

We have a broad range of practice areas to provide the experience necessary for a rounded training contract experience. We have a high calibre client base covering a wide range of sectors and geographical areas. We can offer you an attractive salary, generous benefits, a pleasant working environment and our aim is to recruit and retain those that we train wherever possible.

A Successful Trainee Candidate At Wansbroughs:

Our successful candidates have a strong academic background – with excellent GCSE results and typically at least 3 strong A Levels at Grade B or above (or equivalent).  We also expect at least a 2:1 degree from University as well as good predicted results for the Law Examinations.  Our trainees also have demonstrated practical legal work experience.
