Confiscation and Restraint

New powers under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 allow prosecuting agencies to confiscate assets of those suspected of criminal wrongdoing, even in instances where that person has not been convicted of an offence.

We have experience in advising those who are the subject of confiscation or restraint proceedings, and can assist them in representation at court and engage the services of forensic accountants to challenge the prosecuting agencies' calculations.
