If you have been injured or involved in an accident, Wansbroughs’ Personal Injury Solicitors can give you specialist legal advice and assistance. We can evaluate your claim for accident compensation, fight your case and help guide you through the legal process and assist with your rehabilitation, addressing any concerns which may crop up along the way.
Wansbroughs have a dedicated friendly and professional solicitor, experienced in dealing with all types and levels of claim, from trips and slips to serious injury caused by major accidents, as well as complex clinical negligence claims.
Susan Clifford is the head of our Personal Injury Team. She is a member of the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority Panel for Personal Injury Claims and has been a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (dedicated to promoting the interest of accident victims) for the last 8 years. Susan has more than 20 years experience working in the field of Personal Injury Compensation. Before joining Wansbroughs in 1996, she worked for a national firm who acted for Defendant Insurance Companies, which gave her an invaluable insight into how the other side may approach your claim.
How to Fund your Personal Injury Claim
You may have legal expense insurance which will cover the costs of bringing a claim following an accident or injury. Such a policy may be attached to household or car insurance, through credit/debit card agreements or membership of an organisation. We will explore this with you to make sure that you are able to instruct the solicitor you choose, rather than the one your insurer wants you to have.
Wansbroughs are also happy to act for you on a Conditional Fee basis - often known as a "no-win no-fee" agreement. Under a Conditional Fee Agreement we agree that if the personal injury action is unsuccessful we will charge no fee.
If you have been involved in an accident within the last 3 years that was not your fault, our personal injury team can give you a free, no obligation, consultation. Our personal injury team will assess your claim, answer questions and provide you with legal advice, free of charge and with no commitment.
