Michael is a litigation solicitor with expertise in employer's liability and public liability claims.
Route to Law
After Michael left school he worked in the insurance profession for a few years, where his interest in insurance liability claims was formed. He then opted to train as a solicitor to work in the area of liability claims. He studied law at the University of Bristol and joined Wansbroughs after completing his legal practice course. He was admitted to the roll of solicitors on 1 February 2001.
Michael deals with most aspects of local authority litigation. He was successful in two important cases in the Court of Appeal - Godwin v Swindon Borough Council  - deemed service of a Claim Form; and Tacagni v Penwith District Council and others  - duty of care owed to visitors.
